#2023-244937/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 8-25-2023, at 03:59hrs, a complainant reported his neighbor made multiple threats to kill him and was observed standing outside in the hallway holding a large kitchen knife. The victim was able to escape outside prior to police arrival. Officers established dialogue with the suspect who refused to exit the apartment. While HNT was enroute, patrol continued communication and was able to have the suspect exit the apartment and was taken into custody. The suspect was arrested for harassment and booked into King County Jail.
#2023-245008/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 06:45hrs, West Precinct units responded to the report of bias related threats at Alaskan Way and Lenora Street. Officers interviewed the victim and developed probable cause to arrest the suspect for a hate crime offense. The suspect was located by officers, taken into custody, and booked into King County Jail.
#2023-245224/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 11:07hrs, officers were dispatched to 2nd Avenue and Bell Street regarding a possible robbery. A witness called 911 and stated that someone had been robbed by a suspect with a knife. Officers responded and recovered a knife but could not locate the victim. While police were on scene, a second 911 call came in this time from the victim who was located at a nearby business. The victim reported a man came in to her place of work demanding money and food. The victim complied and ran to a nearby business for assistance. The suspect dropped the knife and fled from the location.
#2023-245815/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 21:03hrs, Community Response Group officers attempted to stop a vehicle without a license plate or temp tag in Holly Park. The vehicles occupants fled on foot. Two of the occupants were taken into custody after a foot pursuit. The vehicle was reported stolen. Both suspects were arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and booked into King County Jail.
#2023-245902/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 22:56hrs, 911 callers reported over 100 motorcycles and several vehicles taking over the intersection at Denny Way and 7th Avenue and doing donuts. The group remained in the area for approximately 15 minutes before leaving the area.
