#2023-245982/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
On 8-26-2023, at 00:38hrs, a man was involved in a road rage incident while traveling southbound on 509. While taking the Myers Way exit ramp, he was shot at through the front driver’s side door of his vehicle and sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wound injuries. He came to a stop near Olson Place Southwest and 2nd Avenue Southwest, where officers secured the scene for SFD, who arrived and treated the victim at the scene before transporting him to HMC. The suspect was driving a black sedan, which continued southbound on 509.
#2023-246653/South Precinct/Second Watch:
At 16:41hrs, two males approached a male victim and demanded all his things that included his car keys, wallet, phone, and jewelry. When the victim did not comply, they held him at gun point, tased him, and assaulted him as they took the demanded items. SFD responded and provided medical treatment at the scene. The suspects were not located at this time.
#2023-246727/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 18:05hrs, the victim was visiting family in the 1200 block South Trenton Street. During the visit, the man had a verbal altercation with a known man. The victim produced pepper spray and sprayed the man. In response, the male suspect produced a firearm and fired shots towards the direction of the male victim. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle. The victim was not injured. Evidence of the shooting was recovered at the location. The suspect was not located.
#2023-246843/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 20:23hrs, officers heard shots near South McClellan Street and Rainier Avenue South. While conducting an area check, officers on-viewed subjects in a vehicle with a rifle in plain view. Officers conducted a high risk stop and detained the occupants of the vehicle. After gaining consent to search the vehicle, a stolen rifle and various narcotics were recovered. The suspects were booked into the King County Jail.
#2023-246863/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 20:47hrs, calls started coming in to 911 regarding shots fired in a residential neighborhood on Beacon Hill. Upon arrival, one male victim was located with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound injury. A woman, whose dog sustained a gunshot wound injury, informed police that the shooter was a known male and fled the scene in a vehicle prior to police arrival. The injured male was taken to HMC and the injured dog was transported to Emerald City Animal Hospital. The suspect was not located at the time of the incident.
