#2023-248359/North Precinct/First Watch:

On 8/28/2023 at 1032 hours, the Seattle Parks Dept. were conducting a liter pick in an encampment off of I-5 and NE 45th Street when a white older model sedan fired one shot into the encampment. The vehicle then drove north bound. Officers were unable to find the shell casing. No one was injured in this incident and an area check for the vehicle was negative.

#2023-248179/North Precinct/First Watch:

At approximately 0700 hours, officers were dispatched to a business on Aurora Ave N for the report of an attempted robbery with shots fired. The victim stated he was located in the front driver’s seat of his parked vehicle when two unknown males approached. One of the males pulled a handgun from his front waistband and demanded the victim’s wallet. The victim refused and began to drive away from the suspects. Both suspects fired multiple rounds into the victim’s vehicle before running to a vehicle nearby and fleeing the scene. During the incident an employee at Lowes was grazed by a round and was transported to the hospital. Robbery was notified and responded to the scene.

#2023-248728/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1652 hours, officers responded a reported shooting. Upon arrival, a victim was located with a gunshot wound. Officer’s rendered medical aid and SFD transported victim to HMC. Two different caliber shell casings were located near where the victim was located. The scene was processed by patrol. A search for the unknown suspect yielded negative results. GVRU and Car 21 responded to the scene. CVTF, 212, and PIO were notified.

#2023-248680/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 08/28 at around 1600hrs, a male suspect walked into an outdoor dining area at a business and began yelling homophobic remarks. Patrons seated in the area believed the male was in crisis. Suspect then picked up a lime size rock and threw it at a customer. Suspect was still making homophobic statements. Victim was struck in the leg and reported no serious injuries. Suspect fled the area and was last seen walking westward. Suspect was not located in the vicinity.

#2023-248081/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At approximately 0311 hours, officers were dispatched to a report of a drive by shooting in the area of 3rd Ave and Pike St. Officers arrived shortly after and located 11 shell casings in the area of 4th Ave and Pike St. There was property damage to a nearby business, but no victims were located. GVRU and PIO notified.

#2023-248053/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At approximately 0209 hours, officers were dispatched to a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, a victim was located who had a facial injury. Officers detained a suspect inside of the apartment who also had a stab wound to the chest. After investigation, it was determined that the initial victim officers located had been bit on the tongue and later stabbed the other victim. A third victim was also in the apartment who had several bite wounds on his hands and arms. Officers rendered aid to all parties until SFD arrived. The subject with the stab wound was arrested for Assault 2 and the subject with the tongue laceration was arrested for Assault 1. Homicide and PIO notified.
