On September 15th 2023, Jaylen Tyrique Johnson turned himself in to Des Moines PD. Johnson was subsequently booked into King County Jail for his warrant.
Seattle Police Department Sexual Assault Unit (SAU) detectives are seeking the public’s assistance with locating Jaylen Tyrique Johnson. A warrant has been issued for Johnson’s arrest.
Johnson is wanted in King County for first-degree attempted rape.
In early August, police responded to 911 call where a female victim was seriously injured after an unknown male entered her apartment and attempted to rape her. The victim fought the attacker, and the suspect fled the scene.
SAU Detectives, with the assistance of patrol, were able to identify Johnson as a suspect.
Johnson is a 24-year-old Black male. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.
Johnson may be in the Redmond, or Issaquah area. Anyone with information about Johnson or his whereabouts is urged to call 911, or contact Seattle Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit at (206) 639-3007.
