#2023-277823/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0016 hours, officers responded to reports of a shooting near North 105th Street and Aurora Avenue North. A vehicle was found abandoned in the southbound lane of the intersection. Multiple shell casings were found around the vehicle and in the intersection. The vehicle and an unoccupied building had bullet damage. There was no evidence that anyone was injured. There were no suspects identified at the scene.
#2023-278017/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
At 0824 hours, Dispatch received a report of a 68-year-old male with a GSW in the 9200 Block of 16th Avenue Southwest. Officers arrived and the workers at the location said that things were quiet. Police were then dispatched to an address south of Southwest Roxbury Street, and that area checked clear. Other locations were checked in the area, but nothing was found. Dispatch checked the local hospitals for any GSW victims, and they came back negative.
#2023-278765/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2250 hours, officers responded to the 4000 block of Southwest Alaska Street to a weapons call. The caller advised that they had confronted two suspects regarding a shoplift nearby. A witness told the caller that the suspects were armed with a gun. The suspects reportedly walked away on foot. Police responded and conducted an area check which was negative. Upon further investigation, the caller advised they never actually saw a gun–just reacted to observations made by the witness.
