At 1502hrs, officers arrest a suspect for harassment based on observations and information gathered at the scene. Police seized the suspect’s vehicle pending a search warrant. A warrant was granted, and the vehicle was searched. From the vehicle officers recovered firearms accessories, ammunition, narcotics, and burglary tools. Additional charges were requested.
#2023-279716/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2234hrs, Dispatch received multiple reports of shots fired around 21st Avenue and East Union Street. Witnesses saw three vehicles fleeing the area after the shots were heard. Officers arrived and located bullet casings in the street. Patrol officers processed the scene; no victims were located and there was no property damage.
#2023-279731/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2251hrs, A victim had her vehicle taken from her at gun point by a known male and two unknown male suspects. The victim was assaulted, and the vehicle was taken with her belongings and phone. The victim’s phone was tracked until Aurora Avenue North Bridge then it stopped. Police did a thorough check of the area, and the vehicle was not located.
