Suspect Arrested After Stabbing in Capitol Hill

Seattle Police officers arrested a 36-year-old male for a stabbing that left a man seriously injured in Capitol Hill Tuesday afternoon.

Shortly after 3:00 p.m., officers responded to reports of a male stabbed in the 200 block of Bellevue Avenue East. Officers arrived and located a 63-year-old male victim with a stab wound. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.

Officers were provided a description of the suspect and located him nearby. After a brief foot pursuit, the suspect was taken into custody.

The exact circumstances leading up to the stabbing are unknown at this time.
