#2023-289166/North Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-6-2023, at 02:01hrs, 911 received multiple calls of shots fired being heard in the area of North 102nd Street and Aurora Avenue North. Officers first located a scene in the 10200 block of Aurora Avenue North. Officers recovered a firearm and evidence of the shooting. No victims or property damage reported at the time of the incident.
#2023-289181/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 02:27hrs, officers responded to a report of a subject with a gunshot wound at Harbor View Medical Center. Officers spoke to the victim who stated he was shot near the intersection of 23rd Avenue and East Jefferson Street. There were no reports of shots fired in that area for the past several hours. Police completed an area check for the shooting scene at the location provided but did not locate one.
#2023-289305/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 07:07hrs, officers responded to the Phinney Ridge neighborhood to assist Seattle Fire Department for an arsonist setting multiple small fires. SFD provided officers with a description of the suspect. An officer conducting the area check noticed smoke emitting from behind a local restaurant. The officer was able to quickly extinguish the fire with his duty fire extinguisher, preventing the fire from spreading. Another officer continued the area check for the suspect with negative results.
#2023-290029/South Precinct/Second Watch:
At 19:09hrs, a South Precinct patrol officer was parked near the intersection of 6th Avenue South and South Bradford Street. The officer on-viewed a shooting incident. Officers arrested one of the subjects involved and seized his vehicle. A pistol was located inside the suspect’s vehicle. A second vehicle fled the scene and was not located. Evidence of the shooting was collected at the location. No victims were found.
#2023-290035/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 19:15hrs, officers responded to a supermarket in Ballard where a shoplift turned into a robbery. When confronted by Loss Prevention, the suspect produced a large knife. The Loss Prevention officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries from grabbing the knife. The suspect was detained until officers arrived. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and booked into King County Jail for robbery.
#2023-290222/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 22:51hrs, officers were dispatched to the 8600 block of 39th Avenue South for an armed robbery. The victims stated they were attempting to park near their residence. As they were backing into the parking space, a silver sedan bumped into the front of their vehicle. The suspects exited the vehicle and robbed the victims at gunpoint. The suspects fled the scene north on 39th Avenue South.
#2023-290239/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 23:09hrs, police responded to a report of a collision with injuries near the intersection of 56th Avenue South and South Bangor Street. The victim was driving on South Bangor Street when she was bumped from behind by a silver Hyundai Sonata. After contacting the victim’s vehicle, the Sonata lost control and crashed into a light pole. Four suspects exited the vehicle and fled the scene. The suspect’s vehicle was as a Tukwila PD stolen.
