#2023-290310/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-7-2023, at 01:02hrs, multiple witnesses called 911 to report a male on a bicycle firing a handgun near the intersection of 10th Avenue South and South Jackson Street, possibly at a passing vehicle. Officers arrived and located evidence of the shooting. No victims or property damage located.
#2023-290341/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 02:02hrs, multiple calls to 911 reported hearing numerous shots fired in the area of North 103rd Street and Aurora Avenue North. Patrol responded and located evidence of the shooting between North 103rd Street and North 104th Street. One vehicle and two businesses were struck by the gunfire. No subjects were injured.
#2023-290937/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 17:15hrs, the victim was standing outside of a business in the 4100 block of California Avenue Southwest when two suspects approached her. One suspect forcefully grabbed the victim’s purse. The suspects left the scene in possession of the purse and were last observed fleeing in a black Kia with no plates. An area check was conducted with negative results. The victim suffered minor injuries and declined medical assistance from the Seattle Fire Department.
#2023-290951/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 17:29hrs, the employee victim at a business in the 2600 block of California Avenue Southwest observed a suspect wearing a ski mask enter the store. It was reported to police that the suspect approached the cashier, placed an item on the counter, and stared at the victim. The victim observed what he believed to be a firearm in the suspect’s possession and thought he was about to be robbed. The victim fled from the store and called 911. The two suspects involved in the incident left in a blue Hyundai with no plates. An area check for the suspects and suspect vehicle was conducted with negative results.
