#2023-291353/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 10-8-2023, at 01:40hrs, officers responded to a report of shots heard around a business in the 110 block of South Horton Street. Officers located no victims at the scene but found evidence of the shooting. Shortly after arriving at the scene, two victims with gunshot wounds were dropped off at HMC. One of the victims reported being at a business in the 110 block of South Horton Street. One victim sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and the other minor injuries. A third victim drove themselves to HMC approximately two hours after the initial call with minor gunshot wound injuries as well. No suspects were located.

#2023-291478/West Precinct/First Watch:

At approximately 05:40hrs, police responded to the 500 block of Pike Street where a suspect stacked cardboard and other flammable material against the wall of a building (in the alley) then ignited it. SFD arrived and extinguished the fire. Minor damage to the exterior wall of the building. The suspect was captured on security video but was not located by police.

#2023-291554/East Precinct/First Watch:

At 08:31hrs, police responded to a report of an assault in the 700 block of 26th Avenue. The suspect had fled the scene before the officers arrived. Police conducted their investigation and left the scene. Later in the day, police received an additional call from the assault victim stating the suspect had returned. Officers responded to the scene and contacted the suspect. The suspect resisted arrest as officers placed her into custody. The suspect was booked into King County Jail for assault.

#2023-291644/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

At 10:45hrs, the suspect walked inside a business in the 2500 block of Southwest Barton Street. The suspect grabbed merchandise and started walking out. It was reported to police that a customer inside the store hinted to the suspect where the line to pay was located. The suspect then pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the customer. The suspect exited the business and left the location in a silver truck. The suspect was not located.

#2023-292032/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

At 18:34hrs, police responded to a report of a robbery near the intersection of 44th Avenue Southwest and Fauntleroy Way Southwest. It was reported to police a suspect grabbed/stole the victim’s purse as she was walking along the roadway. The suspect then fled from the location in a red sedan heading southbound on 44th Avenue Southwest then turned eastbound onto Southwest Holly Street. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries from the physical altercation. SFD responded to provide medical aid. The suspect was reported to be wearing all black clothing and a black face mask. An area check for the suspect was negative.

#2023-292187/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 21:50hrs, officers were at Rainier Avenue South and South Henderson Street when they heard several gunshots to the south of their location. While officers started conducting an area check, 911 callers reported hearing shots near the 10000 block of Rainier Avenue South. Officers located evidence of the shooting near 68th Avenue South and South Holyoke Way South. No other evidence or victims were located.
