On Thursday, Sept. 21 around 1:00 p.m. Seattle Police recovered an out of city stolen vehicle and arrested two males, one of which was involved in a recent carjacking.
SPD obtained information about a vehicle that was taken at gun point out of the city of Burien. The vehicle tracked to the Yesler Terrace neighborhood near 12th Avenue and East Alder Street.
Officers arrived in the area and located the unoccupied stolen vehicle parked in a staff only parking lot. Police reviewed video footage of the parking lot and observed two males exiting from the car. The two males were seen walking eastbound on East Alder Street.
Police contacted a business in the area regarding the two possible suspects. Staff confirmed the suspects had entered and were still inside the building.
The two male suspects were located and taken into custody. The 14-year-old male suspect was arrested for robbery and booked into the King County Child and Family Justice Center. The other male, an 18-year-old, was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and booked into King County Jail.
