Three Juvenile suspects were taken into custody, and one of the juveniles was arrested for auto theft after being seen driving erratically in North Seattle.
Friday October 27th, shortly after 12:40 p.m., Dispatch received a call of a vehicle speeding through a red light at 35th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 55th Street. Officers arrived at the 10000 block of 30th Avenue Northeast and spotted a stolen white Kia matching the description of the car that was driving erratically. Two male suspects exited and entered another stolen silver Kia, and the other suspects ran.
After searching a wooded area two male suspects were located hiding in bushes and taken into custody without incident. The third subject that was seen driving the stolen silver Kia was located and arrested.
Officers collected evidence at the scene and both stolen vehicles were recovered.
Two juvenile suspects were identified and released to their family. One juvenile was arrested and booked into Judge Patricia H. Clark Children and family Justice Center for investigation of auto theft.
The SPD General Investigations Unit is investigating the incident.
