#2023-327365/East Precinct/First Watch:
At 0937 hours a victim arrived at the East Precinct after a robbery at 10 Ave E/E John St. The victim was standing at a bus stop when the suspect grabbed her cell phone from her hand. The victim pushed the suspect to retrieve her cell phone, which caused the suspect to fall and drop the victim’s phone. The victim retrieved her cell phone and left the area as the suspect got onto a metro bus. An unidentified witness gave the victim a ride to the East Precinct as she fled the scene on foot. The victim sustained a minor injury and was screened by SFD.
#2023-327271/South Precinct/First Watch:
At about 0624 hours, an officer was flagged down regarding an armed robbery. The victim advised the suspect approached him on foot, and inquired about a person unknown to the victim. The suspect displayed a silver and black handgun and stole the victim’s red Unagi electric scooter. The suspect fled in a 4-door, dark blue sedan with no rear plates and tinted windows. Officer conducted an area check and located the suspect. The suspect vehicle immediately fled, and a pursuit was authorized. After a short pursuit, officers lost sight of the suspect vehicle, and the suspect was successful in eluding officers and evading capture.
#2023-327599/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At about 1500 hours, approximately 12 demonstrators congregated in front of the West Precinct to protest the officer involved fatality collision which occurred earlier in the year. The demonstrators peacefully displayed banners, signs and walked around in a circle for about an hour. They gave speeches and chanted slogans on a mega-phone before leaving the area shortly thereafter.
