#2023-366490/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 12-22-2023, at 01:13hrs, officers were in the 9500 block of Rainier Avenue South, when they heard gunfire nearby. After a brief area check, they located shell casings at 51st Avenue South and South Gazelle Street. A nearby resident said he heard the shots and looked out to see an unknown vehicle driving southbound on 51st Avenue South with someone firing a gun into the air. Officers located a home with possible bullet damage, but it turned out to be unrelated. No victims or other evidence was located.

#2023-366764/South Precinct/First Watch:

At 09:57hrs, officers responded to a reported stolen vehicle trailer parked in a residential neighborhood. Police located the two suspects inside the trailer and spent a considerable amount of time communicating with the suspects to exit from the trailer. The male and female suspect eventually exited the trailer and were taken into custody without incident. A search of the trailer was conducted. Officers recovered the following: 993.6 Grams of Methamphetamine, 148 grams of cocaine, 189.4 grams of powder fentanyl, 25.1 grams of Heroin, 102.2 grams of Xanax, and 289.9 grams of suspected cocaine laced with methamphetamine. Both suspects were booked into the King County Jail for Possession of Stolen Property, and VUCSA – Possession with Intent to Deliver. The male also had several warrants including a felony warrant for DOC Escape Community Custody.

#2023-366767/North Precinct/First Watch:

At 10:07hrs, units responded to the 800 block of Northeast Northgate Way regarding a bank robbery. The suspect passed a note to the teller and demanded money. The suspect then fled south from the location. K9 conducted a track but was unsuccessful.

#2023-366790/North Precinct/First Watch:

At 10:35hrs, officers responded to a stabbing at North 105th Street and Aurora Avenue. Two community members were involved in a dispute centered around the theft of aluminum foil. The suspect then stabbed the victim in the arm. The victim’s laceration is non-life threatening. Suspect booked into KCJ.

#2023-366807/West Precinct/First Watch:

At 10:54hrs, officers responded to reports of a robbery with a firearm. The victim stated that the subject entered the business, pointed the firearm at her, and demanded money. Security intervened and ordered the subject out of the business. Upon arrival security had the subject pinned on the ground and the firearm secured. Officers took custody of the female subject and determined probable cause existed for robbery. A realistic looking airsoft gun was recovered and entered into evidence. The suspect was eventually booked into KCJ.

#2023-367059/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 15:48hrs, 911 callers stated a female had been stabbed in the 13500 block of Stone Avenue North. Officer arrived and contacted the victim who had been stabbed. Officer provided aid until taken over by SFD. The suspect left on foot southwest from the incident location. Containment was immediately set up and K9 requested. The female victim’s injuries did not appear to be life-threatening and she refused further medical attention. A K9 track was conducted, however the suspect was not located. The victim called back several hours later and requested further treatment of her injury.

#2023-367054/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 16:30hrs, officers responded to a call of a female experiencing a behavioral crisis. The female subject had pulled a fire alarm and was being aggressive towards SFD who responded to the fire alarm. After de-escalation by officers, she was detained for an involuntary treatment act (ITA). While the female was being placed on the gurney, she spat in the face of an AMR employee and was placed under arrest for assault. She was transported to HMC and later booked into KCJ.

#2023-368090/South Precinct/Second Watch:

At 17:07hrs, officers observed the suspect vehicle from a shooting that occurred on 12-11-2023. A high-risk vehicle stop was attempted but the suspect fled from patrol units. Officers did not pursue. The suspect vehicle ran a red light approximately three blocks from the attempted stop location and crashed into an uninvolved community member’s vehicle. The uninvolved community member was not injured. The suspect fled from the vehicle on foot leaving two firearms, two cell phones, and a 35 round magazine behind. Containment was established and a K9 track was conducted. The suspect was not located. The suspect’s vehicle was submitted for evidence processing.
