Detectives are investigating after a man was shot in the early morning in the New Holly neighborhood.
Shortly after 4:30 a.m., Dispatch received a call about a shooting in the 3900 block of South Othello Street. Police arrived and located a 27-years-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. Officers rendered aid until the Seattle Fire Department arrived and the victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious, but stable condition.
According to witnesses, it appears that the victim was in an altercation before being shot.
Gun Violence Reduction Unit Detectives responded to the scene and are working to determine the circumstances that led up to the shooting. The suspect has not been identified.
