On December 20th, a community member flagged down officers to report somebody was throwing items out the window of a moving vehicle in the University District neighborhood.

Each of the male suspects were taken into custody without incident.
Officers completed records check of the suspect vehicle, a silver Hyundai, and another Hyundai parked nearby with a damaged passenger window and ignition. The suspect vehicle returned as a reported stolen and the other was confirmed to be an unreported stolen after contacting the registered owner.
Upon searching the suspect vehicle, a stolen firearm out of Renton was found and a vast quantity of cannabis products. In addition, two Tasers dropped by the suspects during the foot pursuit were recovered as well.
Police arrested the four juvenile male suspects. The juveniles 15, 16, and 17 were booked into the King County Child and Family Justice Center. The 15-year-old and 16-year-old were booked for possession of a stolen firearm and the 17-year-old for possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a stolen vehicle.
