#2024-009452/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
On 1-11-2024, at 02:46hrs, police responded to a report of a robbery in the 2200 block of Southwest Barton Street. The victim and the known suspect had a verbal argument prior to the robbery. The suspect took the victim’s phone and left the apartment on foot. Police attempted to track the phone but were not able to locate the phone or the suspect.
#2024-009922/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 13:54hrs, officers were dispatched to an assault call in Magnolia. Officers located the suspect in a nearby parking lot. When officers contacted the suspect, he began to walk towards them in an aggressive manner. Officers gave the suspect verbal commands and warnings that if he did not stop, they would deploy tasers. Officers deployed tasers, which were effective. The suspect became compliant and was taken into custody. The suspect was booked into the King County Jail for assault and obstruction.
#2024-010313/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 22:32hrs, officers were dispatched to a shots fired call near Martin Luther King Junior Way South and South Alaska Street. Multiple callers reported a group of juveniles shooting a gun. Police located evidence of a shooting at a nearby parking lot. The suspects were not located during an area check. No victims or property damage were located.
