#2023-0364157/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1230 hours, Officers from the Crisis Response Unit served the suspect an Extreme Risk Protection Order from threats the suspect has been making for the past year to the Federal Court House, Harbor View Medical Center, and other locations. The most common threat was to use explosive devices against these locations. Officers were able to arrange a meeting with the suspect to serve the ERPO and make the arrest. Numerous attempts to contact the suspect were made over the past several months and today was the first successful attempt.
#2024-015597/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1650 hours, the subject was driving a personal vehicle delivering packages with her child secured in the back seat. On exiting the vehicle for a delivery, the car began to roll backwards downhill. The subject apparently tried to stop the vehicle but was struck. The subject had some injuries and was transported by AMR for medical treatment. No injuries to the child passenger.
