#2024-018805/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0045 hours, Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 9000 block of Seward Park Avenue South. Police arrived and located the scene in the roadway. It was reported that two suspect vehicles described as a yellow Toyota and a gray/silver Dodge SUV were involved. Officers located casings, bullets and two fragments. Officers processed the scene and submitted the casings into evidence.
#2024-018859/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0219 hours, Officers responded to 50th Avenue South and South Genesee Street for a report of shots fired. Police located the scene in the intersection of 50th Avenue South and South Genesee Street. Shell casings collected as evidence. Officers also noticed that two businesses suffered property damage as well. No victims were located.
#2024-018835/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0138 hours, 911 received reports of that the victim returned home from a local casino, and when he exited his vehicle, he saw three black males running at him. One had a gun, and the others threw him to the ground throwing punches. His necklace and wallet were taken. The suspect then fled on foot westbound on South Kenyon Street. SFD arrived and treated the victim for minor injuries. No suspects were seen. Robbery was notified.
#2024-019416/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1826 hours, 911 received a call that suspects approached the victim as he exited a gas station store. The suspects asked for money and when the victim said “no”, one of the suspects brandished a handgun. The victim, fearing for his life, ran away and did not see what direction the suspects departed. Police responded, investigated along with an area check for the described suspects. No suspects were apprehended.
