At 0906 hours, dispatch received a call that victims were on a walk when they observed two Kia vehicles driving slowly by them. The drivers of both vehicles got out and demanded victim’s backpacks. When one victim told them, “No” he was assaulted by the suspects. He was able to retain his property as the suspects turned to the female, assaulted her, and took her backpack. The suspects then returned to the cars and left the area. One vehicle recovered soon after and sent for evidence processing.

At 1432 hours, two female suspects, one adult one juvenile who are related walked out of clothing store with thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise and left in a vehicle. A North Pct unit with assistance from East Pct units located the suspect vehicle and the two suspects were taken into custody. The juvenile was released to a family member. The adult was arrested and found to have multiple arrest warrants from Seattle, King County and Pierce County. There was also a fugitive warrant from California. The merchandise was recovered.
