#2024-065483/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
At 1215 hours officers received a report that suspects backed an unknown model Hyundai over the cement bollards installed in front of a business in the 4700 block of California Ave SW and plowed into the already boarded-up smoke shop. The suspects entered the store, taking approximately various vape products, and caused damage to the building. The suspects then fled the scene in the vehicle.
#2024-065720/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1100 hours police received reports of a male walked into a local bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money. The suspect was given some money and he promptly walked out the door. An area check was negative. Photos sent out.
#2024-065904/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1439 East Precinct Officers responded to a call to service in the area of 13 Ave and E Fir St for reports of a suspect inside a vehicle shooting at another vehicle. Officers arrived in the area locating two crime scenes with shell casings of different calibers. One bystander vehicle took damage from the shooting. There were no reports of anyone injured or reports of a GSW at any hospital. Officers collected all the evidence. An area checks for suspects led to negative results.
