2024-069432/South Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1203 hours, witnesses reported seeing a male who was on-foot shooting at a vehicle at Cheasty BV S and S Winthrop St. Officers responded and located a spent shell casing and a live round. Neither the suspect nor the victim vehicle were located.
2024-069655/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1539 hours, a suspect entered a bank and passed a note to the teller indicating he was armed and demanded money. The suspect received cash from the teller and then left the bank in an unknown direction. The suspect is outstanding. Robbery detectives are investigating.
2024-069755/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1721 hours, a group of juveniles were in a business at the Pike Place Market when they were approached by another group. One of the suspects in the group approached the juveniles and asked them to empty out his pockets. The male victim declined, and the suspect opened a satchel he was carrying and reached for a pistol. The suspect racked the firearm and placed it behind the victim to escort the victim outside. One of the victim’s friends attempted to intervene and was body checked by one of the suspect’s friends. After the incident, the victims fled the business and ran to a nearby store to hide and call 911. Suspect description and video footage was provided to responding officers. The suspects were located on foot along 3 AV just north of Union ST. Suspects were taken into custody and a firearm was located on one of the suspects. One suspect was booked into KCJ and the other at YSC for Investigation of Robbery.
2024-069755/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 2344 hours, Dispatch put out a call of a suspect in a blk hoodie shooting a gun in the alleyway. Officers arrived the suspect was GOA last seen running northbound through the alley. A possibly victim was contacted but was not injured and was not cooperative. Evidence was collected. GVR unit was contacted.
