#2024-094551/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0100 hours, a man showed up at Valley Medical Center in Renton with a gunshot wound he claimed to have sustained somewhere in either South Park or White Center. He was treated by medical personnel and then spoke with an SPD officer. He said that he didn’t know where he was shot or by who, but that he was near a bus stop near S Roxbury St when he heard shots and realized he’d been struck in the leg, the wound was non-life threatening. He called his friend to pick him up, who then dropped him at his mother’s house, who took him to the hospital. Officers scoured the bus stops along S Roxbury St but did not see any indication of blood or shell casings.
#2024-094607/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 0457 hours, an officer was flagged down by the victim who reported that he was robbed approximately one hour prior in the 10300 Block of Aurora Av North. During the robbery, the victim sustained a small laceration on his finger from a knife. The suspects fled with the victim’s property. SFD responded and treated the minor injury.
#2024-094622/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 0530 hours, units responded to a cannabis dispensary in the North Precinct after multiple callers observed three unknown suspects drive a vehicle through the building. The suspects left prior to Officers arrival. An unreported stolen vehicle was left at the scene. The building sustained significant damage.
#2024-095451/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2334 hours, dispatch broadcast a call of shots fired inside the apartment building in the 2200 block of 1st Ave. Officers arrived shortly after and located witnesses saying that someone shot through the door of an apartment. Officers located the suspect apartment with a single occupant who was taken into custody without incident. A search of the area located multiple casings and bullet fragments. More ammunition along with an extended pistol magazine was located along with multiple bullet holes in the door and wall, but no firearm. The suspect was booked into KCJ.
