#2024-131430/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2030 hours, Officers responded to a report of a disturbance with a gun. Responding Officers established probable cause for Felony Harassment with a firearm by a known suspect. Officers contained the suspect’s trailer/residence and attempted to hail possible occupants of the trailer. During these attempts the 6300 block of 16 Ave SW was blocked to vehicle traffic. After a sufficient amount of time, Officers were unable to determine whether the trailer was occupied. No continued threat to life or public safety was determined and Officers disengaged and cleared from the scene. K9 responded to the scene to assist. During this process HNT, SWAT and 233 were apprised of the situation in the event that their response was required.
#2024-131584/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0010 hours, Officers were dispatched to a shooting call in Lincoln sector. Caller informed officers that the shots came from the passenger of a moving vehicle. Officers located nine shell casings at the scene. No victims or property damage was located. Officers photographed the scene, collected the shell casings and placed them into evidence. GVRU was notified of the incident.
#2024-131756/North Precinct/First Watch:
Victim told the primary unit that he was staying at an Air B&B with some friends when a known suspect (friend) came over and was allowed in the house. The suspect came downstairs to where the victim was, and physically attacked him, taking the victim’s gun out of a backpack. The suspect then pointed both the victim’s gun and a gun he had on his person at the victim while saying, “Don’t do nothing and don’t try to take your gun back” before fleeing the scene. The report was taken over the phone as the victim had already left the city limits prior to calling 911.
