#2024-147941/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1850, SPD responded to a stabbing incident in a downtown apartment complex. Officers arrived on scene and found a male with numerous stab wounds to his torso. He reported that he was with his girlfriend inside of her apartment prior to the stabbing. Unbeknownst to the couple, an acquaintance of theirs had unlawfully entered into her apartment complex by accessing a broken sliding door. When the boyfriend attempted to confront the acquaintance, a disturbance escalated to the point of the acquaintance stabbing the boyfriend several times. Victim was transported from the scene to HMC in stable condition. Area search for the suspect was conducted on scene and at last known addresses with negative resources.
#2024-148161/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At approximately 2314 West Precinct Officers observed a known subject that was currently wanted on a Felony Warrant. Officers contacted and detained the subject and verified the warrant. Upon search of the subject a loaded firearm was recovered, along with over 100 rounds of ammunition. Additionally, the subject was in possession of a scale used for narcotics sales, other individual’s identifications, and burglary tools. Additionally, after the subject was in custody he made several attempts to pick his handcuffs, as well as the door of the prisoner transport wagon. A Hazard Report was completed to document his escape attempts.
