#2024-150006/East Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0218, Officer’s responded to the location reference shots fired. Upon investigation it was determined a verbal argument began when the gas station clerk told the occupants of a parked vehicle they needed to leave the gas station parking lot. The vehicle began driving off and the backseat passenger was observed “racking a handgun.” As the vehicle drove away, the backseat passenger pointed the handgun out the window and fired two shots straight up into air. No shell casings were located. Scene was processed by patrol.

#2024-150065/West Precinct/First Watch:

At 0455 hours, officers responded to the report of a stabbing in the 1500 block of 3rd Ave. Officers contacted the victim, who had been stabbed in the lower back and left arm. A makeshift tourniquet and bandages had already been applied by an acquaintance of the victim. The 911 call was made approximately fifteen minutes after the stabbing occurred. Officers were unable to obtain a suspect description or direction of travel. The victim was transported to HMC with non-life-threatening injuries after being treated by SFD. 211 was notified.

#2024-150485-West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1200 hours, SPD officers responded to a reported fight disturbance involving a weapon in the 1600 block of Dravus St. Officers arrived on scene and were able to determine that one of the parties had threatened to stab another male and had been armed with a knife. Numerous witnesses were able to corroborate the threats made to investigating officers. Suspect was placed into custody without incident and booked into KCJ.

#2024-150647/South Precinct/Second Watch:

At approximately 1456, the victim was near the 2700 blk of Rainier Av S and had just been paid in cash by their employer. It is believed the suspect observed this and followed him a short distance demanding his money. When he refused, the suspect produced a handgun. The victim was able to run away and retain his money.
