#2024-155588/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1129 hours, the victim and unknown suspect were at the 200 blk of Alaskan WY S. Both got into an altercation, and one party had a knife. According to the victim he punched the suspect multiple times and was struck by the suspect with the knife. At the time of the incident, he believed the suspect only brandished the knife and did not use it. The suspect fled the area and the victim walked away. At 1300hrs, at a different location, the victim called 911 to report he was stabbed in the back. SFD responded and treated the alert and conscious victim with a single stab wound. The victim was transported to HMC for his non-life threating injuries.
#2024-156238/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At approximately 2149 hours, officers responded to 1800 lock of Minor Ave to several callers reporting shots heard. Officers arrived and located one male victim with 2 GSWs, and another male victim with a grazing GSW. Officers rendered aid until SFD arrived and transported one of the victims to HMC in serious condition, and the other was treated at the scene. The suspect had already fled prior to the officers arriving. Officers located more than a dozen handgun FCCs and recovered two handguns from the scene. The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation. GVRU responded to the scene to assist with the investigation.
