#2024-151929/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2156 hours, West Precinct Patrol Officers were dispatched to investigate a reported Robbery located in the 1200 block of Jackson St. The caller required an interpreter but was able to report the word “Robbery”. Officers arrived in the area and were flagged down by the RP. It was learned that a suspect had entered the business armed with a firearm and stole a wallet containing approximately $700.00 in cash. The suspect pistol whipped the victim and fled the scene. The victim suffered a minor cut to their lip and was evaluated by SFD on scene. A review of the surveillance footage at the business yielded good stills of the suspect. An area check was conducted; however, the suspect was not located.

#2024-152685/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1623 hours, SPD Officers responded to a shots-fired incident at Lake Union Park. Officers arrived on scene and were able to determine that a group of students had been congregating at the park and hosting a BBQ. Several individuals believed to be associated with the students joined the group and got into a verbal altercation with a transgender couple nearby. The altercation escalated to the point of the transgender victim being assaulted by the associated individuals and resulting in a mob of people striking and assaulting the victim. As citizens attempted to intervene to stop the attack, an individual was seen using a firearm to fire numerous rounds into the air, ultimately dispersing the large crowd. A single round was found to have struck a nearby building. No one was injured from the shooting. Incident was screened with Homicide and GVRU.

#2024-152837/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2042 hours, multiple 911 callers reported shot fired in the 6th floor hallway of an apartment building. Upon arrival, Officers noted fresh blood drops at the front entrance and followed them into a stairwell but did not find a victim. On the 6th floor, multiple shell casings were located. Bullets entered multiple apartment units, but no victims were located. Both residents of the apartment where an initial disturbance was reported to have occurred had fled prior to police arrival. Building Maintenace will be able to provide surveillance footage tomorrow. Ultimately, no shooting victims were found, and none arrived at local hospitals. Incident screened with 213, GVRU, Car 85. Media 3 notified.
