#2024-166832/West Precinct/Second Watch:
Officers responded reference a male seen running nude in street. Upon arrival, officers established ITA criteria and went in to detain the subject while awaiting AMR. The subject intentionally front-kicked an officer and then rear kicked another officer causing transient pain. Subject was arrest for Assault 3 and booked into KCJ. There were no officer injuries.
#2024-166940/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1524 hours, multiple bystanders in the 9200 block of 46 AV SW attempted to intervene in an in-progress assault. The suspect assaulted the bystanders then produced a handgun, pointed it at multiple people, and fled in a vehicle with the original victim. Officers located the vehicle and detained all occupants. The suspect was arrested and booked on investigation of assault and VUFA. GVRU screened. Search warrant is pending on the car.
#2024-166976/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1607 hours, On listed date a suspect walked into an occupied home on the 2800 blk of E Park Dr E, wandered upstairs and out onto the balcony before climbing onto the roof. The homeowner was able to escape out the back and call police. The suspect was high and claimed people were chasing him with guns. After an hour of negotiations, he climbed down from the roof and was taken into custody with no further incident.
#2024-167036/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1729 hours, a “shots fired” call was reported by multiple callers at Powell Barnett Park. Witnesses indicated two individuals were seen firing on each other during a “Juneteenth” celebration on location before speeding away in multiple vehicles. No victims were located but multiple caliber shell casings were found on scene. CRG stopped a possible suspect, but a positive identification was unable to be obtained.
#2024-167069/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1801 hours, officers responded to a report of a male suspect possibly high on meth refusing to leave the location. Suspect assaulted security and property using a fire extinguisher. When officers contacted the suspect, he did not comply with commands and bit one of the officers. SFD responded and provided medical assistance. Male suspect transported via AMR to HMC for medical evaluation. Once medically cleared will be booked for felony assault.
