Seattle Police arrested a man and recovered two firearms in the Chinatown-International District on Saturday.
On June 22nd at 11:47 p.m., patrol officers responded to a report of a man with a gun in the 400 block of 8th Avenue South.
Officers investigated and determined that the male brandished a firearm at people and threatened to shoot them.
The suspect was located by officers inside of his residence and taken into police custody.
Police served a search warrant and recovered two handguns, a loaded semiautomatic pistol and a modified Polymer-80 pistol with a 50-round drum magazine.
The 25-year-old man was booked into King County Jail for Harassment and two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
Detectives in the Gun Violence Reduction Unit took lead on this investigation.
