#2024-199019/East Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2150 hours, multiple callers reported shots fired. Officers responded and located shell casings in the 500 block of Lake Washington Blvd S inside Frink Park. There were no victims or property damage located. Patrol processed the scene.

#2024-199286/West Precinct/First Watch:

At 0515 hours, SPD Officers responded to a single-vehicle collision in the West Precinct area. Officers found the passenger sitting in the crashed vehicle. Officers interviewed the passenger and the witness at the scene. Officers discovered a handgun in the driver’s seat in plain view and removed the handgun from the vehicle with the consent of the passenger. Upon further investigation, Officers found probable cause to arrest the driver for D.U.I and VUFA. The driver was processed for D.U.I was subsequently booked into the King County Jail for VUFA due to his previous felony convictions.

#2024-199294/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

At 0517 hours, Officers responded to the reports of shots heard. Another caller reported that they had been shot at and their vehicle had sustained damage. Officers contacted the victim, who was uninjured, who stated that they were parked at a dead-end street. The victim was inside their vehicle facing north in front of a RV that belonged to their friend. The victim heard someone from the south, behind them, shout something and then heard 2 to 3 loud bangs. The victim then realized a bullet had hit the rear window of their vehicle and went through the windshield as well, just missing the victim. A 9mm shell casing was found on the sidewalk of the arterial. There was no available description of a suspect or vehicle at the time of the report.

#2024-199550/North Precinct/First Watch:

At 1030 hours, the suspect shouted racial slurs at the victim and threatened to kill him due to his ethnicity. The victim was fearful that the suspect may follow through with his threats. 224 notified.

#2024-199669/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1256 hours, an Officer on-viewed a suspicious vehicle parked in a marked handicapped only parking slot with no placard displayed. The three occupants appeared to be asleep. As officers stopped behind the vehicle, the driver appeared to awake and started the vehicle. The driver made eye-contact with the officers, put the vehicle in reverse, and rammed into the patrol car causing damage. The driver then drove forward jumping over several curbs before reaching the street and eluding at a high rate-of-speed. Surveillance video of the parking lot from the Safeway store was requested for further investigation. Suspects remain outstanding as of this report.

#2024-200129/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2059 hours, Officers responded to a gas station located in the 6600 Block of M L King Jr Wy S. The on-scene investigation determined the 2 suspects entered the business and acted as if they were shopping. They then went behind the cash register. 1 suspect began assaulting the victim (the clerk for the business) while the other suspect began stealing tobacco and vape product. The victim was knocked to the floor and the suspects exited the business, fleeing the area on foot NB on 39 Av S. The Victim then called 9-1-1 for assistance. The victim sustained minor visible injuries and was treated at the scene by SFD. No physical evidence was located at the scene, but the incident was likely captured on their surveillance system. However, at this time, there were no employees on-site with access to it. An area check for the suspects was completed but they were not located. Robbery Unit was notified.

#2024-200225/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2317 hours, the suspect used a stolen vehicle to slowly cut off a driver (head on). The victim stopped to avoid a collision. The suspect exited with a handgun, demanding everyone exit the victim vehicle. The four victims complied and the suspect fled in the victim’s vehicle. The incident was screened by the Robbery Unit. The suspect’s vehicle was recovered at the scene and sent to the processing room.

#2024-202314/East Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2322 hours, the caller reported his vehicle was just stolen with a firearm inside at 12 Ave/E Madison St. Officers conducted an area check and located the vehicle. They followed the vehicle where it was stopped with the assistance of KCSO. A passenger ran from the stop and was arrested. The driver was booked for PSV and DUI.
