#2024-195967/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1200 hours, ICAC was contacted by investigators in North Dakota that there was a Warrant for a suspect in our area. SPD Detectives located the suspect, who lived near the University of Washington, and developed PC for crimes committed here in Seattle. The Suspect fled to Oregon and was known to be in an area near Salem. CRG and Detectives served a warrant on the suspect’s apartment collecting evidence. SPD contacted Detectives in Marion County who located the suspect in Oregon and booked him on the Fugitive Warrant later that same day.

#2024-197852/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2321 hours, Officers heard shots off of Renton Ave S. Officers arrived and located multiple spent casings in the street. There were two vehicles that had bullet damage. No victims or suspects were located. Patrol processed the scene. GVRU and 233 were notified.

#2024-197923/South Precinct/First Watch:

At 0115 hours, Officers were dispatched to a burglary call. Officers arrived and contacted the intoxicated suspect. During the arrest the suspect kicked an officer twice and then bit the officer on the leg. The suspect was booked into KCJ for Assault 3 and Burglary. The officer was driven to the hospital where he was treated. 253 was notified. A hazard report was completed.

#2024-197933/North Precinct/First Watch:

At 0124 hours, Multiple callers reported shots fired in a Ballard neighborhood. Officers located 4 casings. No injuries or damage reported at this time.

#2024-197975/West Precinct/First Watch:

At 0239 hours, A crisis subject outside of HMC damaged a West PCT patrol vehicle windshield by striking it with a chain several times. Officers at HMC were alerted to this and detained the subject. The officers determined the subject met ITA criteria. The subject was sent to a hospital via AMR. The patrol vehicle was returned to the West PCT and taken out of service.

#2024-197978/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0243 hours, the suspect was in his “tiny home” and lit a “bubbler” with an open and locked torch. He set the torch down next to some curtains and the curtains caught fire. He ran to go get a fire extinguisher, but discovered it was not operational. The fire spread and someone called 911. SFD arrived and was able to extinguish the fire, but not before 8-9 “tiny homes” were destroyed. The suspect was on scene and was arrested for reckless burning and outstanding warrants.

#2024-198047/North Precinct/First Watch:

At 0545 hours a victim walked into UW Hospital after being shot in the forearm. The victim stated the shooting occurred almost three hours prior in the University District. He states he was standing at the listed location when a vehicle pulled up, the passenger said, “what’s up?” and shot him. The vehicle then fled the area WB.
