#2024-196793/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0125 hours, multiple callers reported hearing shots fired in the 900 block of N 101 St. Officers arrived and located nine shell casings in the roadway. Officers also found what appeared to be new bullet hole damage to the window of a closed restaurant across the street to the East. The incident was captured on security camera and shows an unknown male exit a vehicle and fire eastbound toward Aurora AVE N. The suspect then flees the scene westbound in the same vehicle. Video also shows an unknown individual standing at the corner of Aurora AVE N/N 101 ST just before the shooting begins. That individual can be seen running away northbound. No victims were located. Officers photographed, collected and submitted the shell casings.

#2024-196877/Southwest Precinct/First Watch

At 0552 hours, officers responded to a reported attempted carjacking. The victim was inside his running vehicle, asleep, when multiple male suspects attempted to open the vehicle doors. Upon waking up, the victim scared the suspects away fleeing in a vehicle. The suspects were located on foot a few blocks from the scene and fled on foot when officers arrived. Multiple suspects were detained, and additional suspects were not located. A .40 caliber magazine was located on a subject. Of the suspects detained one was arrested and transported to juvenile detention, the other two did not appear to be directly involved and provided details of the events that took place. Upon further investigation, video evidence was located of the suspects parking the stolen vehicle and walking away on foot. The recovered stolen vehicle had several .40 and 9mm shell casing inside, each were collected as evidence. King County K-9 arrived to assist with tracing of suspect and evidence of suspected firearm that was ditched by the suspect. All K9 track produced no results.

#2024-196938/East Precinct/First Watch:

At 0725 hours, Officers responded to a call for service at 170 block of 12 Ave for initially a trespass call. While conducting their investigation it was discovered that the suspect had a $500,000-dollar felony warrant for Robbery 2nd degree and Rape 2nd degree. The suspect was also wanted by DOC for violations of conditions. Due to the suspects criminal history, HNT and SWAT was notified. HNT and SWAT responded to the scene to assist. A search warrant was completed, and officers made entry into the apartment, located the suspect and placed him under arrest without incident. The suspect was booked into KCJ for his felony warrant and DOC violations.

#2024-197862/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2245 hours, Officers responded to a large fight disturbance / robbery at Magnusson Park near Kite Hill. A group of people were going around trying to rob others of their cell phones. Officers responded to the scene and found the suspects had fled. Shortly after handling and clearing the robbery scene, officers received a 911 call of a male shot in the shoulder at Northwest Hospital. The victim’s girlfriend had dropped him off and stated that while working on his car near Magnusson park, he was randomly shot in the back shoulder blade area. The wounds are not life threatening. GVRU and Media3 notified of incident.
