#2024-240763/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 0659 hours, the suspect used an object to break a large window at a grocery store. When Officers arrived the suspect initially ran but was soon caught up to and taken into custody after a brief struggle. No Officers were injured. A hazard report was completed. 224 notified.
#2024-241330/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1600 hours, Officers responded to a note job bank robbery at the Umpqua Bank. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash. Officers conducted an area check, but the suspect was not located. Latent Prints responded. Robbery notified.
#2024-241115/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1323 hours, an officer while responding to an unrelated call recognized a robbery suspect involved in incident 24-189262 in the 1700 blk of Summit AV. After a short foot pursuit, police detained the male suspect and placed him under arrest for robbery without incident. No officer or suspect injury. Robbery and 242 were notified.
