#2024-259127/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0355 hours, Security called 911 to report a male hanging off the top floor of a downtown parking structure. Officers arrived and attempted dialogue with the subject, but he let go of the edge and fell to the ground approximately 100 feet below. Officers performed CPR until SFD arrived and pronounced the unidentified male subject deceased. Screened with 211.
#2024-259831/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1727hrs officers responded to a collision involving a lime green scooter and a 3-year-old child. The child exited the parked vehicle, walked around the vehicle, entering the bike only lane. The scooter struck the child causing a head injury. SFD reported that the child did not lose consciousness and was alert. The child had a significant lump on his head. SFD transported the child to HMC for further evaluation. The incident was screened by TCIS.
#2024-259649/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1420 hours, officers responded to a single vehicle crash into a light pole in the area of Magnusson Park. The crashed vehicle was stolen. Witnesses saw the 5 juvenile occupants flee the scene in another vehicle. Officers located the second vehicle, also stolen, driving into Magnusson Park. The vehicle attempted to elude officers but drove into a dead end where the suspects dumped the vehicle a fled on foot. More units responded to assist, including Guardian-1. All 5 suspects were eventually captured and booked into YSC. Combinations of charges for the individuals will include Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, Taking a Motor Vehicle Without Permission, Hit-And-Run, Eluding, Obstructing, and one warrant for Robbery. An assault committed shortly before the crash may be related; detectives are investigating.
#2024-260016/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2105 hours, a call came into 911 of a possible shooting. 1 shot was heard and then people arguing followed. An adult victim with a non-life-threatening injury to their ear was located just off Aurora Av N in the parking lot of a Taco Bell. The injury was a possible bullet graze wound. It was extremely difficult getting information from the victim as well as any possible witnesses. No evidence was located. The suspect is outstanding. Officers looked for any viable security video footage of this incident but were unable to locate any that they could access immediately. 223 was on scene. GVRU notified.

At 2100 hours, Officers responded to a shots call located at 26 Ave SW/SW Brandon St. Officers located four 9mm FCCs. There was no reported property damage, and no injuries.
#2024-259913/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1844 hours, Officers responded to a crisis call located at the 8400 BLK of Delridge Wy SW. The details of the call indicated that there was a male in crisis with a firearm saying that he can see clowns and ninjas and that he wanted to hurt them. Officers arrived and contacted the subject on the phone. Officers contained the apartment building. The subject was initially inside of his apartment, but he decided to exit and continuously knock on his neighbor’s door. The subject damaged his apartment windows. Officers also contacted the complainant to determine if a crime was committed. The complainant provided good INTEL about the subject’s location. The subject eventually came outside, and he was placed in handcuffs. Officers recovered three BB guns that looked like real firearms. The subject was transported to the hospital on an INVOL.
