#2024-258339/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1555 hours, officers were dispatched to a crisis call in which the caller was reporting nonsensical things related to paranoia. Police called the subject in crisis prior to arrival at which time the subject made comments to having matches and planning to set her apartment on fire. Upon arrival Police saw smoke coming out of the crisis caller’s unit. SPD officers safely evacuated the building as SFD arrived on scene to contain the fire. A next-door tenant identified the crisis subject as the sole tenant of the involved unit. The subject was arrested for Investigation of Arson. ABS was notified of the incident and arrest.
#2024-258866/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2008 hours, officers responded to the 1100 block of East Fir Street to reports of shots fired. Officers arrived and located three adult males with GSWs and provided medical aid until SFD arrived and transported them to HMC in serious but stable condition. Officers located over a dozen FCCs and other evidence at the scene. GVRU responded to the scene to assist with processing and HMC to interview victims. No suspects were located, and the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
#2024-258929/Southwest Precinct/ Third Watch:
At 2138 hours, the complainant (COMP) called 911 to report that he was stabbed by a male who walked up behind him. The COMP was contacted at the 6500 BLK of 35 Ave SW. The COMP had a laceration to his left ear. The COMP stated that he was stabbed over a female, and his wallet was taken. K9 was requested and officers set up containment. Guardian 1 was also requested. The COMP stated that it wasn’t DV related. The COMP refused to give his name and insisted that he didn’t want anything done. Officers attempted to get the COMP’s name from the call, but he didn’t give one. Officers gave the COMP a case number and cleared the scene.
