#2024-326097/West Precinct/First Watch:

At 0731 hours, Officers doing emphasis patrol along Pike/Pine area were flagged down about a trespass at a business. Officers contacted the subject and explained the reason for the contact. Officers provided ample time for the subject to comply and leave the property, but refused. Officers placed him under arrest for criminal trespass. Search incident to arrest the subject became agitated and uncooperative. While being escorted in handcuffs, the subject managed to wrap his hand around an officer’s wrist and apply significant pressure and dug his fingernails into the exposed skin of the officer. The subject also kicked at the officer’s legs. Fingermarks and bruising were visible on the officer’s wrist.

#2024-326437/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1347 hours, Officers responded to a stabbing incident in the Belltown neighborhood. Officers arrived on scene and located the two involved individuals still on scene. Through the course of the investigation with the involved parties and a witness, it was determined that the suspect had a known history with the victim at their housing complex. Today, the suspect postured at the victim while calling him coward and began to intimidate him. He further pulled out a pocketknife that was brandished and used in the incident. The victim was able to thwart the attack, which subsequently resulted in the suspect sustaining the wound to his neck. A separate witness corroborated the incident and surveillance footage was not available during the time of investigation. The knife was recovered on the suspect with the stab wound to his neck, who was transported via AMR to HMC for further surgery and placed into custody for Investigation of Assault. Homicide and Media were notified.

#2024-326475/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1412 hours, a vehicle stolen the day previously was used in a drive-by shooting on another vehicle. Officers located the suspect vehicle and a pursuit was initiated. During the pursuit, the fleeing vehicle fired on pursing officers. The vehicle eluded in heavy traffic, but was located later, unoccupied. Multiple scenes processed by patrol, suspect vehicle towed to VPR for processing. No injuries reported. No damage to police vehicles. North Patrol and GVRU coordinating for follow-up.

#2024-326583/East Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1608 hours, Officers responded to an assault call at an employment support services center near Rainier Av S/ S Charles St. A Witness advised that the victim was teaching a computer class, and the suspect did not like the material that the instructor was teaching. The suspect then stabbed the victim twice in the abdomen and then fled the scene. Witnesses advised that the suspect got inside the King County Metro Bus. A short time later, responding officers approached the bus and placed the suspect into custody without incident at Jackson Av/Rainier Av S. Officers were unable to locate the knife that the suspect used during the incident. The victim was transported to HMC by SFD, and the suspect was transported to KCJ for booking.

#2024-325523/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 2118 hours, WPCT officers assigned to 12th Avenue S & Jackson Street area directed patrol located an occupied stolen vehicle and occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody. The female driver was identified as the suspect that initially stole the vehicle and had multiple unrelated felony warrants for her arrest. The female suspect was eventually taken to HMC for medical evaluation and a hospital guard was established. HMC staff secured the suspect to a gurney via soft restraints and requested the officer wait outside the exam room (out of sight & sound) while the medical exam was taking place. A short time later, HMC staff advised the officer the suspect had slipped the soft restraints and fled out a secondary door in the exam room when they left the suspect alone in the exam room. Suspect was last seen running away on the sidewalk from HMC by security. An area search was attempted for the suspect, but she was not located. 212 was advised.

#2024-326807/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2045 hours, the victim had left a friend’s house in the S3, began walking to the train station located at MLK/S Henderson St when a vehicle stopped, two males exited, pistol whipped him and took his shoes, jacket and ski mask, then fled southbound on MLK Way S. The shoeless victim fled the area on foot, took the train to SODO and called 911. An area check was conducted after at least a 45-minute delay and the suspects were not located. The victim declined any medical attention. Family was called and they arrived to take him home. Robbery was notified.
