#2024-328768/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1505 hours, two suspects entered a Wells Fargo in the Wallingford Neighborhood, produced a demand note, and said, “This is a bank robbery, you have thirty seconds to give the money inside the drawer. Do not press the panic button and don’t tell your coworker, it’s not worth your life.” The thirty seconds passed and they left empty handed. Suspects were wearing gloves, glasses, stocking caps, and balaclavas. Suspect fled in a Mazda with stolen plates. The suspects were not located. Robbery was notified and patrol processed the scene.
#2024-329104/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2120 hours, officers responded to the 3200 block of S Irving St to reports of gunshots through a residence. Officers arrived and found no victims at the home but documented bullet damage to the home and vehicles parked nearby. Officers located 30 FCCs consisting of a mixture of rifle and handgun rounds. GVRU responded to assist processing the scene. No suspects have been identified and the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
#2024-329118/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2158 hours, Officers were dispatched to the area of Stans Sayres park for a report of shots fired. Multiple callers reported hearing automatic gunfire in the area and the sound of several vehicles fleeing the area. Officers located a scene at Adams St. Boat Ramp where 20 FCC’s were located, marked, photographed and recovered. No victims or property damage were located. GVRU was notified.
