A teenager was arrested following a stabbing in West Seattle’s Roxhill neighborhood.
Monday shortly before 1:30 p.m., 911 dispatch received a report of a stabbing in the 2900 block of Southwest Cambridge Street. Officers arrived and found a 17-year-old girl with stab wounds to the abdomen, back, arm, and other areas. Police rendered aid until the Seattle Fire Department arrived. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threating injuries.
Investigators believe the victim was involved in an altercation before being stabbed by a 16-year-old female.
Police located the suspect, and she was taken into custody without incident. The girl was booked into Judge Patricia H. Clark Children & Family Justice Center for Assault in the First Degree.
