#2024-354967/South Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1512 hours, at approximately 1512 hours, officers responded to a report of shots being fired near Rainier Av S/ S Henderson St. Witnesses stated there were four suspects wearing dark clothing with one of them shooting approximately four shots. The subjects ran off and nothing appeared to have been hit. Two shell casings were found in the grass that had been there for some time and were likely unrelated. Officers located video surveillance of the subjects running EB on S Henderson St and provided the business with the link to Axon.com. South Shore Middle School sheltered in place for a short period. 232 notified.

#2024-354901/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1407 hours, Officers responded to a hazard call on the monorail. A male jumped onto the monorail tracks and was refusing to come down. This occurred during the middle of the day in the downtown corridor. Traffic was shut down; Seattle Fire was called to stage, and officers began speaking with the subject. Officers developed rapport with the subject, while not wanting to die expressed a desire to jump between the tracks and possible down to the ground. HNT arrived and continued to speak with the subject who agreed to come off the tracks. The subject was identified and sent to the hospital on an emergent detention.

#2024-354657/West Precinct/First Watch:

At 1000 hours, prior to the 12 Ave S/S Jackson St DAT High Visibility operation on 12-18-24, CRG conducted a narcotics operation from 1000-1300. In that time period, three arrests for VUCSA PWI were made. All three suspects were booked into KCJ. 89.6 grams of narcotics and a butterfly knife were recovered as evidence, and one vehicle was impounded to the VPR pending a search warrant.

#2024-355286/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2153 hours, Seattle Fire Department reported a vehicle on fire at Pritchard Beach. SFD Investigator was the on-viewing entity and determined that the vehicle fire was an arson. The registered owner of the vehicle was later contacted and reported that the vehicle had been stolen. She was unaware of the vehicle theft until officers notified her of the arson. No suspects were identified.

#2024-355253/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2106 hours, at approximately 2106 hours, West Precinct Patrol Officers responded to a reported threats with a firearm call located in the 20 BLK of Mercer St. Officers were in the area when the call was broadcast and quickly made contact with the victim and witnesses. According to the victim, the suspect confronted him in the restroom of the restaurant that the incident took place in. The suspect initially asked the victim if he was a cop, to which the victim reported that he was not a cop. The suspect then attempted to sell the victim narcotics, then warned the victim that he was a gang member, before lifting his shirt to expose his tattoos and draw his firearm which he then pointed directly at the victim. The victim fled the bathroom and called 911. While Officers were conducting an area-check, the victim flagged down Officers and pointed directly at an individual a block away and stated that he was the suspect. When Officers attempted to contact the suspect, he fled on foot. A short foot pursuit was initiated before the suspect was apprehended. The suspect ran into a dead-end parking lot where he was observed tossing what was believed to be a firearm. The suspect had nowhere to run and was taken into custody. A firearm was located on the ground where the suspect was seen to have been discarding something. The firearm was taken as evidence, and upon running the serial number it was determined to be stolen. Additionally, upon running the suspect’s name it was learned that he had a felony warrant out of Yakima and was the respondent in 3 protection orders that prohibited him from possessing firearms. The suspect was arrested for Assault 1 (Firearm Pointing), Unlawful Possession of a Firearm 1 (Convicted Felon), 3 counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm 2 (Violating terms of the Protection Orders), and Possession of a Stolen Firearm. The suspect was booked into KCJ.
