#2025-29723/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0300 hours, at about 0300 hours Officers were flagged down about a disturbance involving a machete near the West Precinct. Officers detained 3 involved suspects. During a frisk a gun was found on one of the subjects. Ultimately no further criminal activity or victims were found. Prior to releasing the last suspect, he decided to spit in the face of one of the sergeants on scene. Two cooperative subjects were released from the scene and the third was booked into KCJ for Assault 3rd degree. 213 screened on scene and hazard report was completed.

#2025-30123/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1610 hours, Officers were dispatched to a man passed out in a running vehicle. Upon further investigation it was determined that the vehicle was stolen. Officers attempted a high-risk vehicle stop, at which point the suspect vehicle fled. The suspect vehicle crashed into a utility pole near the initial scene. Officers located the suspect and placed him under arrest. Type 2 Force was used. Suspect was medically declined from King County Jail. When medically cleared suspect will be booked for Possession of a stolen vehicle, eluding, and for a Felony Warrant.

#2025-30368/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2100 hrs, officers responded to a report of a 911 open line and female heard yelling for someone to stop and yelling for police in the 800 block of Yesler Wy. Officers arrived on scene and made contacted a male and female. Officers established PC for Felony DV threats and property damage. During the course of taking the suspect into custody, the suspect spat in the officers’ face. Suspect was transported to KCJ via AMR and booked for Assault 3, INV DV threats and property damage. The officer was not injured. Hazard report completed and 243 was notified.

#2025-30216/South Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1900 hours, CRG received intel that street racers would be gathering at Costco. CRG responded to the location after closing hours and observed vehicles obviously set up for street racer / takeover event. A Costco representative was informed who requested all subjects be trespassed from the location. Officers began contacting drivers and gave warnings; vehicles, plates, and drivers were photographed for enforcement purposes and all vehicles left the premises in different directions. Throughout the next hour as more vehicles arrived they were also warned, trespassed, and documented. In total, approximately 40 vehicles showed up and were subsequently encouraged to leave. CRG continued to monitor the city for the next few hours and the event appeared to not rematerialize anywhere in Seattle. No arrests made and no tickets written likely due to visible documentation of the vehicles preventing anonymity of the drivers.

#2025-30242/South Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1755 hours, officers were dispatched to the 7300 block of 45th Avenue South to a report of a male shot. Officers arrived and located an adult male with 2 GSWs in a residence. Officers provided medical aid until SFD arrived and transported him in serious but stable condition to HMC. Officers swept the residence for additional victims and then secured the scene. GVRU responded and obtained a search warrant to process the residence with patrol. No suspects have been identified as of this writing. The circumstances leading up to the incident remain under investigation.

#2025-30190/South Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1632 hours, the victim was walking down the street when he felt like he was punched in the head. His knees buckled and almost collapsed. He continued walking to his friend’s house and realized he had been shot in the top of his head that entered his scalp, followed his skull and exited after about approximately 3 inches. The friend transported him to Valley Medical Center (VMC). Officers responded to VMC, but the victim had already been transported to Harborview Medical Center (HMC) for further treatment. Officers and Gun Violence Reduction Unit detectives responded to HMC. No further information was gathered.
