#2025-61578/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0015 hours, the victim pulled in front of his residence after returning from work. He was approached by 4-5 masked suspects and at least one was armed with a handgun. The suspects followed the victim inside his residence and demanded money. While inside the residence the suspects held the victim at gunpoint while stealing cash and other personal property from the victim. Robbery detectives were notified and responded to the scene.

#2025-61624/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0216 hours, multiple callers reported a male holding a rifle and screaming at people on the Seattle waterfront. Additional callers updated the suspect had broken multiple windows at the Seattle Aquarium. Upon arrival officers were unable to locate the suspect but found multiple other businesses with broken windows. The Aquarium provided video footage showing the suspect had a metal bar and not a rifle. A comprehensive area check was conducted but the suspect was not located.

#2025-61675/North Precinct/First Watch:

At 0543 hours, the incident occurred in the University District Light Rail Station (north entrance) on the lower platform. A passerby called 911 after a subject’s pistol discharged which was stowed in the subject’s pants. The bullet struck the subject’s right leg. SPD arrived and stopped the bleeding with a tourniquet, and KCSO arrived and took over the scene at their request. Subject transported to HMC via AMR with minor injuries. Additional investigation will be handled by KCSO (KSO case #2025-007230) who followed AMR to HMC.

#2025-61986/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 0945 hours, officers were dispatched to an assault call near 2nd Ave and Marion St. The caller who was attending the weekly protest at the Federal Building called 911 to report he was assaulted by unknown male who grabbed his flag and tried to rip it. Officers arrived and located the victim, who told them he was holding a Flag when the suspect approached him and grabbed the flag. During the struggle over the flag the pole the victim was holding was damaged and the victim’s arm was hurt. The victim believed he was targeted because of the flag he was holding. The victim took a picture of the suspect, but officers were unable to locate the suspect. 212 was notified and an alert email was sent.

#2025-62440/East Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2034 hours, officers responded to a report of an assault at a shelter. After speaking with the victim on scene, officers established probable cause for DV robbery. While still on scene the suspect called into the shelter requesting to come pick up his belongings from the shelter. Officers set up containment on the location and requested assistance from KCSO Guardian One. The suspect returned to the shelter and was met by officers at the basement door. The suspect managed to evade capture at the shelter. Due to the good containment set up by officers and with the assistance of Guardian One the suspect was apprehended and taken into custody a block away from the scene. Suspect was booked into KCJ after being medically cleared by HMC.  An officer sustained minor injuries during the arrest and was treated at a local hospital and cleared. 243 was notified of the incident.
