#2025-62692/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0211 hours, officers responded to a report of a walk in GSW at Swedish First Hill. Officers contacted the victim and learned that the victim had been involved in a verbal dispute with an unknown suspect at 300 block Broadway East. The two parties separated and went their own ways. The victim walked to his vehicle and sat in the driver’s seat to leave and heard what sounded like gun fire. The victim realized that he had been struck and drove himself to Swedish First Hill where he was transported to HMC by Medic One for further medical evaluation. The victim sustained two GSW’s to the back of his left shoulder. The victim was transported in stable condition. Officers located the victim’s vehicle parked on the street riddled with bullet damage to the drivers’ side of the vehicle. Patrol processed the scene. It was determined that the incident stemmed from an earlier disturbance call (25-62680) report of 8 shots heard but officers were unable to locate a scene. The incident was screened with GVRU and 243 notified.

#2025-63239/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1732 hours, officers were proactively patrolling near the area of 12th Ave S/S Jackson St. Officers observed a male making hand to hand transactions and developed probable cause for narcotics dealing after watching money being exchanged. The suspect was placed under arrest without incident. Search incident to arrest Officers seized 20 grams of Fentanyl powder, a scale and $1,528 in cash. The suspect was booked into King County Jail for Possession with intent to sell.

#2025-63493/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2338 hours, a suspect entered a convenience store, pulled a gun, demanded cash and tobacco products. Patrol Officers immediately responded, set up containment, and contacted the victim, established PC and broadcast suspect description. K-9 arrived, began a track for the suspect, and located the bag that had the stolen goods behind the store where the suspect likely entered an awaiting vehicle.

#2025-63339/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2009 hours, West Precinct Patrol Officers were dispatched to investigate a reported DV Strangulation call located in WP area. Officers contacted the victim and were able to develop probable cause for DV Assault 2. The suspect had locked himself inside of his apartment and refused to exit. HNT responded to the scene and attempted to persuade the suspect to exit, but he refused. A warrant was applied for and granted for the suspect. Due to the suspect barricading his door SWAT was dispatched to the scene to serve the warrant. After SWAT cut the top half of the suspect’s door away, he surrendered peacefully and exited his apartment. There were no uses of force, and the suspect was successfully booked into KCJ.
