#2025-67363/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0016 hours, Officers responded to a report of a shooting involving two people walking their dogs. During the walk, the dogs began fighting, and one of the dog owners, a valid CPL holder, drew a handgun and fired one round into the other dog. Investigation revealed that the dog owner acted in self-defense after unsuccessfully attempting to separate the dogs. The dog that was shot would not release its bite on the other dog’s neck. Unfortunately, the shot dog did not survive. The scene was secured by patrol, and the dog owner who fired the shot initially left the location but later called 911 to report the incident. The owner was cooperative, and the handgun was recovered and seized for further investigation. No arrest was made due to the circumstances. Patrol processed the scene, and GVRU screened the incident.
#2025-67415/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0326 hours, the complainant was inside her business working on SW Alaska St. She saw suspects with masks pull up in a black SUV and start tampering with her vehicle. She walked towards the suspects with her coworker. She stated that as she got close one of the suspects held up an object. The witness saw S#2 point what was possibly a gun under his jacket. The witness yelled gun and grabbed the complainant back. The suspect got inside the complainant’s vehicle and fled the scene. Guardian 1 wasn’t in service. Robbery was notified.
#2025-67540/East Precinct/First Watch:
At 0809 hours, Officers responded to a call for service from a female reporting felony harassment and stalking from her ex, who she shares a child with. Officers located the subject and attempted a felony stop on his vehicle. He eluded and officers did not pursue. SW Officers located the subject’s vehicle at his reported home address shortly after and set up containment. Multiple people live in the home, including elderly and children. The subject was reportedly armed. The subject ran out of the house, attempted to flee containment via a wooded area behind the house. K-9 was deployed and bit the subject. The subject was able to wedge through a fence and back into the house. HNT and SWAT arrived. The subject quickly surrendered and was booked into KCJ for felony DV harassment, stalking, and two felony warrants. Officers gained consent to search the vehicle and home for the reported firearm and none were located. 254 responded to the scene. Type II use of force initiated. Two officers were injured and treated at the scene for minor injuries.
#2025-67715/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 1125 hours, officers responded to the report of a bank robbery in Mary Sector. The suspect sat down at an employee’s desk and passed a note stating intent to rob the bank and demanding currency in specific denominations. The employee stated that they would need to go to the teller window to retrieve the currency. The employee walked into the teller area and locked the door behind them. After unsuccessfully attempting to enter the locked teller door, the suspect fled the area on foot. No currency was taken from the bank. Incident screened by the Robbery Unit. 232 was notified. The Latent Print Unit responded to the process the scene.
#2025-67573/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1200 hours, SPD ICAC conducted a search warrant and arrest operation in the dorms of Seattle Central College. The suspect was contacted in his room and taken into custody without incident. During the suspect interview he admitted to possessing CSAM and was booked into KCJ.
#2025-67970/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1543 hours, WSP requested HNT, Patrol, and Harbor assistance for a suicidal subject that was over the railing on the Ship Canal Bridge threatening to jump. HNT negotiators took over dialogue and after an hour of effort were able to convince the subject to come back over the railing. WSP took the subject to the King County Crisis Center in Kirkland.
#2025-67911/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1436 hours, several callers reported shots fired at Roxhill Park, with someone possibly hit. A few minutes later, a male called from the area of 30 Ave SW / SW Elmgrove St to report that his friend was shot. Officers responded to that location and contacted the 18 yo male driver of a Prius and his 17 yo male passenger. The juvenile male had sustained 3 GSWs to his left side. Officers rendered medical aid until relieved by SFD. The juvenile male was transported to HMC in serious condition. Officers arrived at Roxhill Park, located the scene, and interviewed witnesses. Officers determined that four males were engaged in a loud argument by the play structure. At some point, one male pulled a gun on the other three males, and they all exchanged gunfire. The lone male then fled on foot. The other three males fled in a Prius. Officers quickly determined the males contacted at 30/Elmgrove were the same males observed shooting at the park. GVRU Detectives responded to the scenes and HMC. Detectives processed the scene at the park and coordinated the impound of the suspect vehicle to the VPR. The 18 yo male was placed under arrest and booked into KCJ for Investigation of Assault and UPFA. The juvenile male will be booked into YSC for Investigation of Assault and UPFA, once he is discharged from the hospital. Two unidentified suspects remain at large.
#2025-67735/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1000 hours, CRG, CRG Cadre and West Bike conducted narcotics operations focusing on 12/Jackson, Pike/Pine and Belltown. There was a total of 4 suspects booked for VUCSA, 1 suspect I&R’d pending a search warrant, 1 car impounded for a search warrant along with 17.9 grams of fentanyl, 9.7 grams of cocaine, 94.8 grams of methamphetamines, and $1709 taken as evidence. In addition to the VUCSA arrest, 4 subjects were detained and released for a fight disturbance.
#2025-68205/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2211 hours, officers were dispatched to a report of an arson. Dispatched information included an unknown person had thrown gasoline on a Tesla and lit it on fire before running away. Officers arrived with SFD to put the vehicle fire out, and an area check was performed with negative results for the fleeing suspect. There are security photos of the suspect, and the gas can and plastic bag he was carrying was located and placed into evidence. Patrol processed the scene, and the arson was screened with Arson/Bomb unit as well as 243.
#2025-68291/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2238 hours, West Patrol was dispatched to an assault at the West Edge parking garage located at the corner of 2 Ave and Pike St. During a trespass of an of an unknown male subject from the garage by security, two intoxicated females intervened, engaging security in a verbal altercation. During the course of the altercation, one of the security guards and the female suspect (who was later arrested) began yelling that the other should “go back to their country.” The situation escalated when the female suspect began shouting “go back to Africa”, striking the security guard twice. Officers arrived on scene immediately following the initial broadcast to find the parties separated. Officers were able the female suspect and her female companion at the intersection of 1 Ave and Pike St. Officers attempted to stop the two female subjects subsequently fled on foot. Following a brief foot pursuit, the two Female subjects were detained by officers. The crime was investigated fully, and it was determined that the assault was racially motivated. Officers coordinated a victim show up confirming both female subjects’ involvement in the altercation. The female suspect was arrested for a Hate Crime and subsequently transported to and booked into KCJ. The companion was provided a courtesy transport from the scene to her hotel due to weather conditions and being unfamiliar with the area.
#2025-68317/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2311 hours, shots were reported in the 100 block of S Washington St. Officers located an uncooperative male victim with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was transported to HMC via Medic One in stable condition. A scene was located within a parking lot adjacent to a nightclub. Surveillance footage and witness accounts depicted a physical altercation between two groups of subjects which escalated to gunfire. Shell casings were located. A stolen gun was recovered from the scene. A second uncooperative female victim arrived at HMC with three GSWs to her extremities. An involved vehicle was located at a residence in Renton and taken to the Vehicle Processing Room. No suspects were located. GVRU, PIO and 213 advised.
#2025-68196/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2008 hours, officers responded to a person in crisis. Reporting party stated the following: MALE CLIENT HAVING DELUSIONS, THROWING TABLE AROUND LOBBY, NOBODY ELSE AROUND, SUBJ HAS AUTISM AND SENSORY ISSUES, KNOWN TO USE NARC, OFF BASELINE, NO WPNS. Officers arrived and determined they had ITA criteria and called for an AMR unit. As they were loading the subject onto the gurney he began to kick at officers and struck one officer multiple times in the back. The suspect was secured to the gurney and transported to jail for assault 3. Officer did not receive injuries that needed treatment beyond on scene medical attention. 243 was notified of the assault.
