#2025-148817/North Precinct/Third Watch/U2:
At 0117 hours, officers responded to reports of shots and people running at NE 47 St and NE 50 St. On arriving officers located witnesses who stated there was a crowd at that intersection in an argument before they heard 2-3 shots then saw people running. No witnesses saw a gun or had any additional information. All parties appeared to be college age. At that intersection officers located shell casings. No video or victims were located.
#2025-148874/East Precinct/Third Watch/C1:
At 0246 hours, an anonymous complainant called 911 to report an in-progress burglary at a cannabis store located on 501 15th Ave E involving multiple suspects. It was reported that unknown suspects had rammed a vehicle into the business and stolen multiple items. Officers promptly arrived on scene but were unable to apprehend the suspects who fled from the scene in multiple unidentified vehicles. The scene was processed for evidence gathering, and the damaged vehicle was sent to the processing room for evidence processing. 243 and the Media unit were notified.
#2025-148862/West Precinct/Third Watch/K1:
At 0233 hours, 233 heard shots being fired in the area and broadcast the same. A short time later Officers were flagged down in the 700 BLK of 5 AV regarding bullet damage to a building. Officers located the scene, recovered bullet fragments, as well as casings. GVRU screened the incident and patrol processed the scene. A suspect vehicle was seen on surveillance footage, but no identifiable features were visible.
#2025-148909/Southwest Precinct/First Watch/W1:
At 0401 hours, Officers responded to the Alki area to the report of several shots heard. When Officers arrived, a witness stated that there was a group on the beach and another group on the sidewalk. At some point the group on the sidewalk fired several shots toward the beach or water. It was not known if the group on the beach was targeted. Everyone involved then fled the area. Multiple shell casings were found on the sidewalk. The casings were collected and submitted to evidence. An area check for any possible victims or property damage was negative.
#2025-148949/North Precinct/First Watch/N3:
At 0526 hours, Ofcs responded to a DESC building in the area of Aurora and N 96th St to assist SFD for an apartment fire. The building was evacuated while firefighters extinguished the small bathroom fire in a 2nd floor apartment. No injuries were reported. Fire Marshall 5 responded to the scene, but he was unable to determine what started the fire. The occupants of the apartment in question attributed the fire to spontaneous combustion of some kind. Fire Marshall 5 notified the Arson Unit via email.
