#2025-170305/West Precinct/Third Watch/Q3:

At 0148 hours, officers responded to a reported stabbing outside a gas station in the 600 block of Elliot AV W. A victim, alert and conscious, was located with a stab wound to the neck. Officers rendered aid until SFD arrived. The victim was uncooperative with officers and would not provide suspect information or details about the assault. He was later transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious, but stable condition by Medic One. Security footage from the gas station was not immediately available for review. At least one witness observed the suspect and victim both exiting a car in the parking lot of the gas station; however, they had no further information regarding the incident. KCSO Metro and K9 units responded to assist. A track was initiated, but the suspect was not located. The involved vehicle was taken to the VPR with a hold for homicide and latent prints.

#2025-170674/West Precinct/Second Watch/D1:

At 2030 hours, Officers at the West precinct were made aware of an unreported shooting that occurred on 06/19/2025 at approximately 2030hrs in the 2100 block of 2nd Ave. Dispatch validated that the shooting went unreported by the community, subsequently generating a call for service for the incident. 2nd West with the assistance of RTCC recovered video of the incident. A suspect was seen confronting a group of subjects in front of 2100 blk 2nd Ave. During the contact, the suspect hands a cell phone to the group that gets passed around. The alleged victim and suspect engage in a verbal altercation which causes the victim to grab the phone from the group and hand it back to the suspect. The suspect then slaps the phone out of their hand, pulls a pistol from his waist band, and shoots the victim in the upper thigh. The victim rushed into the bar to seek cover as the suspect fled west bound on Blanchard towards 1 Ave. Currently, there are no reports of walk in GSW to any local hospitals. A thorough investigation was conducted by 2nd watch officers who uncovered additional video footage from a local bar and neighboring liquor store. JET resources have been contacted for further engagement with bar staff regarding the incident.

#2025-171063/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch/F1:

At 1851 hours, several callers reported hearing gunfire in the area around 2600 block SW Brandon St and a vehicle heard leaving the area. Officers located fired cartridge casings in the 2800 block SW Brandon St and a city bike route sign nearby sustained damage. No witnesses or victims were located. Incident was screened with GVRU.

#2025-171054/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch/F1:

At 1845 hours, officer observed a white Chevy Malibu with no license plates outside a closed business. The officer backed his patrol car into a nook nearby to radio for backing units to conduct a suspicious stop. The driver re-appeared, entered the vehicle and backed up to the officer’s car, forcing the officer to back completely up to a fence to avoid a collision. The suspect continued to back up, completely blocking the officer in and stopped. The officer radioed for assistance and multiple units arrived. As backing units were arriving, the suspect took off, eluding police officers. The officers did not pursue but the suspect then conducted multiple U-Turns, driving back and forth near the officers, taunting them. The suspect eventually left the area.
