#2025-178883/West Precinct/Second Watch/D1:
At 1643 hours, officers responded to a DV Assault in progress in David sector. “1 MIN AGO, RP WITN MALE STRANGLING FEMALE, BOTH CURRENTLY ARUGING, NO WPNS SEEN”. The first arriving officer attempted to separate the aggressor who was on top of what appeared to be an unconscious female. As the officer gave commands, the female suddenly stood and aggressively approached the officer. The officer deployed his taser to protect himself. The male was arrested for DV Assault, and the female was arrested for Assault 3. Both subjects were booked into KCJ.
#2025-179069/South Precinct/Third Watch/R3:
At 2105 hours, officers responded to an accidental firearm discharge with a juvenile sustaining a GSW to their leg. A friend on scene provided medical aid while waiting for officers and SFD to arrive. The suspect/victim discharged a handgun in the back of a vehicle. Officers observed the firearm on the back seat of the vehicle in plain view along with one FCC. The registered owner of the vehicle was contacted. Consent was given to retrieve the firearm and search the vehicle. A second firearm was located with an extended mag and Glock switch. GVRU/PIO notified.
#2025-179170/South, East & West Precincts/Third Watch
At 2230 hours. multiple street racing event occurred throughout South, East and West Precincts. Approximately 50 vehicles were involved in the events. Vehicles took over five intersections, did donuts, and set off fireworks. Each location drew pedestrian onlookers. At each location, officers quickly ended the events and dispersed the offending cars out of the area. These events were managed by SAT, CRG and South Patrol. The events began around 2300 hours and ended by 0030 hours.

At 2220 hours, Officers were proactively walking a foot beat at 3rd Avenue and Pike Street when they observed a suspect with brass knuckles who they subsequently arrested. Search incident to arrest, narcotics that were packaged for sale, currency and a drug ledger were located. Suspect successfully booked into KCJ for the weapon and drug offenses.
