#2025-185843/South Precinct/Second Watch/R2:
At 1923 hours, While conducting proactive patrol in the South Precinct, CRG officers observed a suspicious vehicle near Rainier Ave S / S Hanford St. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but it immediately eluded. Luckily other officers were able to surveil the vehicle until the occupants ditched it near Rainier Ave S / S Byron St. The three occupants then attempted to run from officers but were quickly detained. All three occupants were juveniles, and one was in possession of a firearm. Two of the juveniles were arrested and booked into KCJ for Eluding and Firearms violations. The other was released to his parents after being positively identified. A Fired Cartridge Casing was observed in the vehicle. The vehicle was impounded to the VPR pending a search warrant.
#2025-185799/West Precinct/Second Watch/D3:
At 1827 hours, officers responded to a public park in the west precinct to investigate a suspicious incident, regarding a male who had been stabbed. Investigation on scene led officers to arrest the stabbed subject for an unrelated assault on a community member. Further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing led officers on a separate domestic violence investigation. Additional charges of unlawful imprisonment, assault, and animal cruelty were determined at the conclusion of the investigation. The suspect was later booked into KCJ for all offenses related to both incidents.
#2025-185960/West Precinct/Third Watch/M1:
At 2230 hours, multiple 911 callers reported a disturbance along the waterfront. Callers reported the suspect harassing victims while yelling racial slurs and making racial hand gestures. Investigation revealed the suspect harassed a juvenile male while making racial comments. The suspect was arrested for Hate Crime offense. Further investigation revealed he also grabbed a juvenile female’s arm and was charged with assault for that incident.
