#2025-205410/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch/F3:
At 0046 hours, victims at a gas station in the 8800 block of 14 Av S called fifteen minutes after having been robbed at gunpoint by a man they described as a Hispanic male. The victims said the suspect fled northbound on foot. Containment was established and K-9 responded, yet the passage of time and foot traffic kept a track from being feasibly located. The matter was documented and forwarded to Robbery.
#2025-205447/South Precinct/Third Watch/S3:
At 0203 hours, a caller reported hearing 12 shots. Officers arrived in the area and located evidence in the parking lot. Security on scene stated he saw a gray sedan in the immediate area of the shots. Property damage was located on a separate vehicle that was dropping a passenger off in the immediate area. Officers processed the scene. Screened with GVRU.
#2025-205433/South Precinct/Third Watch/O2:
At 0128 hours, commercial burglary occurred and tools, batteries, and a van were taken. Employee arrived at the business around 1900 hours and call into 911, officer responded, employee provided live GPS tracking for the van to the primary officer. It tracked into the West Precinct area, where K9-3 assisted in following the vehicle’s movement through the city based on the tracking provided by the investigating officer. The vehicle traveled back into South Precinct where it stopped. K9-3 kept eyes on the vehicle until more resources responded. A suspect in the immediate area attempting to walk away was detained and was identified as one of the suspects. He was booked into KCJ. On walking around the area, officers found the driver of the vehicle and placed him into custody. Acting Sergeant on scene recognized him as the suspect from a different Burglary (2025-180947) where multiple vehicles were taken. The suspect had a collection of felony warrants. He was sent to HMC for swallowing narcotics. 1st watch assisted with hospital guard and GIU was notified.
