Police Recover Drugs, Cash, and Stolen Gun During Narcotics Arrest in Downtown Seattle

Seattle police officers recovered drugs, cash, and a stolen gun during a narcotics arrest in Downtown Seattle last night.

On July 23, at about 10:00 p.m., patrol officers near 3rd Avenue and Pike Street witnessed a man and a woman engaging in hand-hand narcotics exchanges for cash. According to the police report, the man then began “smoking the suspected white powdered narcotics.”

Another man met up with these two suspects and they began walking away from the area when police contacted them. After a brief struggle, officers arrested all three suspects and recovered a loaded gun.

Ultimately, officers recovered over 40 individually packed Fentanyl doses, Crystal Methamphetamine, Xanax, over $460 in cash, and a stolen handgun. Police requested six felony charges between two of the initial suspects and booked them into the King County Jail.

Charges include:

  • Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (x2)
  • Possessing a Stolen Firearm
  • No Contact Order Violation
  • Theft 2
  • Sale and Delivery of Synthetic Narcotics

Officers released the third suspect from the scene and recommended charges for Possession of Narcotics.

Detectives in the Narcotics Unit will be assigned to this case.
